Art is exchange, art is social interaction!
Art is not primarily just a market, art is movement, exchange, participation and social reflection!
We want to frame and open up our gallery in Worpswede through an ongoing program of activities and events.
This is less about an additional focus on an event program with performing arts than about continuously enlivening the location with action days, workshops, theme events, music and performances.
Galleries with glossy facades in prime locations in major cities have outlived their usefulness and offer little space for discourse and participation beyond the vernissages.
We see our "ArtHUB" concept as a framework that should invite people to come to our Schluh on a regular basis and enjoy the atmosphere, the activities, performances, offers or workshops without barriers.
In our art magazine of the same name, we aim to report quarterly on all events as well as on art and artists.
We are planning the following events in our ArtHUB in Schluh:
- Open studios
- Watch artists at work in our project space
- Presentation of various techniques
- Watch our Artmashine at work - and join in
- Workshops on different topics
- Special sale days with affordable artworks and prints
- Music, readings, theater, dance
- Open (sculpture) garden to linger and enjoy
- Guest artists introduce themselves
- "Open Association" - Schluh.art eV
- Wine tastings and culinary delights
Our magazine will feature the following:

- Portraits and interviews with artists
- Topic-related articles
- Special offers from the gallery
- Tips and information on art and culture in the region
