Our goal: to restore the “Wilhelm-Spaethe” piano to full functionality so that it can

desired tuning 440, or 432 Hz (Verdi) super.

Note: The tension of the approximately 230 strings of a piano with around 88 keys/ notes (7 octaves)

corresponds to the weight of 2-3 elephants, i.e. 12-16,000 kg.

What is currently pending: Adjust MECHANICS/ Clean and replace DAMPER felts/ STRINGS
Remove rust, replace/replace loose tuning pegs with 0.25 mm larger ones, etc.
